Aid Details

The main objective of Internet Brazil is to provide free access to mobile internet for public elementary school students.

All registered on Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico).

This aid enables educational institutions to offer flexible education.

Facilitating access to knowledge in a democratic way and simplifying the implementation of new learning methodologies.

Accession Process

For students to obtain the benefits of the program, it is crucial that the Department of Education and the school adopt the program and complete all necessary steps.

Municipal and state education departments must join the program through the Integrated system of Monitoring, Execution and Control of the Ministry of Education (SIMEC).

And establish the criteria, in a transparent way, for the selection of participating schools.

Schools must:

  • Confirm your participation through the Direct Money at School Program (PDDF);
  • Define distribution criteria among eligible students;
  • Indicate beneficiaries who meet the program criteria;
  • Manage all changes that influence students’ right to benefit.

Students must:

  • Be enrolled in the public elementary school system;
  • Be students from the third year of primary or secondary school;
  • Be registered with the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico);
  • Have a mobile device.

Adaptive Chip

Everyone enrolled in the program will receive an adaptive chip card.

In this way, it will be Internet connection made easier by allowing the operator to be changed remotely.

There is no need to physically replace the chip.

Therefore, the Internet Brasil program promotes digital inclusion.

And it represents a significant advance in the democratization of access to education and knowledge across the country.
